I am a PhD student at the Kahlert School of Computing of the University of Utah, working with Prof. Ryan Stutsman and Prof. Rohan Basu Roy. I am affiliated with Systems & Software for High Performance Computing Lab (SysHPC) and Utah Scalable Computer Systems Lab. I am also affiliated with the Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute. During my PhD, I have been fortunate to intern at National Labs (LLNL, ANL), HPE Labs, and Yale University.
Before joining Utah, I obtained my master's degree in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur, India. I also worked as a visiting research scholar at MPI-SWS in Germany, and a research intern at TCS Innovation Labs in India.
My research interests lie in serverless/cloud computing, sustainability, storage and file systems, high-performance computing, and quantum computing. I design and build efficient scheduling, resource management, and control-plane techniques that integrate cloud, HPC, and quantum resources to optimize performance, cost, and sustainability at scale. My work aims to:
In particular, I attempt to bridge the sustainability-performance gap between emerging large-scale applications and heterogeneous cloud/HPC platforms.
